Ghostbusters - First footage

Ghostbusters belongs in the same place as Transformers, i.e. THE PAST. I'd rather remember my childhood as it was, not have some fucksocket "reimagine" it.

Boo yah sucks to that. I for one am pretty pumped about the idea of controlling the improbably named quartet. All together now "Bustin' makes me feel good!! De ner de ner de ner de ner-ner."

The on foot bit looks promising. The ectomobile doesn't look as cool as the old one, and is apparently driving on ice.

I don't think this is official footage, just something released by team members to get the word out. It's an early version anyways...

Ghostbusters without traps.....there is no point.

Looks nice enough, but from this video, it looks like the game play might be a bit arse. Plus they should lose the female voice over.

I don't understand what's not to like in that footage. For first footage it's looking really interesting and faithful to the films. I'd love to relive Ghostbusters again.

The actor voices aren't in there. It's not official yet.

Maybe the traps and the car physics aren't even far enough along in development to be in that build.

Dan Akroyd is going into the studios to do MoCap on this title, so you can guess that it's official.

That's pretty exciting, when you take into consideration that he's also announced that a Ghostbusters III movie is near to going into production as a CGI movie - with ALL of the original cast doing voice work.

It's to be set in a Hellish NYC where ghosts are everywhere, and that's also what the game trailer seems to be showing. So a tie-in, perhaps?

Also in interviews, ZootFly have now said it's cross platform (Wii/360/PS3). So can't wait to see how the Wii remote works as a Proton Pack!
