That still doesnt make me go out and buy one.....unless youve all ready got one.

Be prepared to have your ass handed to you online if thats how your going to play.

not seeing how making unrelated gestures adds to the immersion or gameplay

You wont play the game like that, its just a cool way to select you gun and test it before hand

I used to say "one day ill be able to speak to my computer and tell it what to do". Now I can do that, whether ill use it or play games using it, i dont care.

Waving your hand does not equal shooting! Where is the finger trigger kinect is apparently capable of!?
  • Olemak #8 12 months ago

So they are turning Ghost Recon into a dancing game?

I hope they will change the trigger mechanic to voice command, actually saying "pew pew" to fire the gun would be perfect.

Why can't they just bring the game out already. I've lost count of how many times this games release date has been pushed back. I don't own Kinect and I'm not interested in playing Ghost Recon games with it. I'm not even remotely interested in Kinect until its price at least halves.

OK, I've got kinect and it has had its fair use but....this game...surely its easier, quicker, more natural, less effort and seriously less hassle to play with a fucking joypad?

lmao. Can you imagine a 3-hour on-line session playing like that...?

EDIT: If you want motion controlled FPS, even the most ardent Xbox fan has to admit that the PS Move is more suited....

Well he was having fun, not so sure I would playing it that way. The gun thing looks stupidly good fun though.

OMG. What time does amazon shut?
  • The-Bodybuilder #14 12 months ago

That looked so cool.....up until he started shooting.
And why does the guy look like a knob?
  • muttler #15 12 months ago

I'm very skeptical that it would work that well in the scope.
  • monsieur_qwerty #16 12 months ago

Stupidest thing I've seen in a long time.
  • andrewsqual #17 12 months ago

Totally worth 160 quid. Seriously though you are a moron if you have Kinect.
  • TRUTH #18 12 months ago

It just seems so much easier, quicker and straight forward with a real feeling of input and control, while still comfortably able to sit down and play by using the 360 Joypad...Give me one reason why using Kinect has an advantage in this video over a joypad ?

Vibration feedback looks a bit weak. Something they need to work on maybe....

I don't understand what reaction they are trying to get from this. It shows that with a hardcore game like Ghost Recon it can't work in the actual game. As stated, anyone using it to play online (and single player too I reckon), will just get hammered. So are they wasting all this time and delaying the game to employ a few menu systems using kinect, that most people won't use even if they have a kinect?

Kinect is OK for the type of games that were launched with it, other than that it's just not going to work with shooters. Look at Ryse. Looks good with the player using kinect, jumping around and headbutting, slashing and cutting. But after 10 minutes you need an hours rest. I wonder how long before some-one suffers a heart attack playing that game. I'll stick to the game pad. easier, more reactive, cheaper and it allows me to sit and ENJOY my gaming.

Pathetic. What's wrong with a control pad?

...or better yet a mouse and keyboard.

People don't realize that FIT OR NOT real people dont' have the unlimited stamina there avatar in game has.

Playing any Action Title with kinect will tire anyone out in 15mins tops.

I could see stealth games being more applicable to Kinect.
