Gears of War 2 hospital gameplay

Marcus and the crew see action in a deserted hospital and the open streets, taking on a variety pack of burly Locust. You'll also see a some shiny new boomsticks as well as the achievement progress bar popping up. Also, helicopter lady makes another appearance and we meet a new member of the team.

One thing that really bugged me about the first gears was when you are zooming into shoot and following/trailing someone. You never seemed to catch up and they end up running just a few feet in front of your scope/cross-hair. I hope that they make that an adjustable setting ala UT3

Yeah, looks kind of alright... solid gameplay, nice visuals but ultimately it's just more of the same. I'm buying it solely for the campaign and possibly 2-player co-op... I've no interest in the online modes at all, never liked them in the original.

Are those achievement messages from the new dashboard update or is that something GoW2 does itself? I hope it's in the dashboard. I'm always wondering how far I've progressed into completing an achievement that goes like "do this 25 times or do that 100 times".

Online in gears one was all geared towards the cheats. Everything from the host advantage to the rolling shotgun moves. Apparently this is fixed now.

Let's hope so, otherwise it's just the single player and co-op campaigns, then trade it in for me again.
