LetsGo, It's really not an "on rails" shooter. There were similar sequences in the first game (mine cart and train). This is just a small part of the first level.

Looks like there's been improvement to every aspect of the visuals, and on top of that there's all the extra background action. Gears 1 was never even half that busy.

It looks like it'll do exactly what you'd expect for a sequel and I for one am looking forward to playing this - I really enjoyed the first game. A friend of mine says he didn't enjoy having to pump round after round into each enemy to down them, but that's part of why I did enjoy it personally. Each to their own I guess...

It will sell regardless of visual fidelity.

Hype and fanboyism are the major selling factor this gen, i see this selling 5 million copies overall.

It still looks very similar technically and game mechanics wise, what was epic doing for the pastyear and a half ?
