    I love that fact that there are people on here who post on a gaming website who are looking down at those they class as nerds etc. You know there are plenty of people in the real world who'd think the same of anybody who posts on here. Yes what a bunch of no life virgins queuing for game.... that you're also playing...

    These things always look a bit cringeworthy from the outside, but I like the way they are into gaming enough to make it a community event. Personally, I've been at work too loong and missed launch altogether :( Just ordered it tonight...

    Also, agree with jonc24 - we're all gaming nerds on EG aren't we? If we had girlfriends they'd never let us play THIS much.

    GOW3 if any of the other titles are to go by is a standard 3rd person shooter without any depth or reason to replay. I 110% understand it in america with the whoopin' and a hollerin' bulls**t weve come to expect from an american console exclusive but I mean i saw the VGChartz data and granted it sold more than pretty much anything else like for like but its still an average short shallow experiance with a shitty multiplayer tagged on why is it all of a sudden being the s**t now? It was a ok game at first the second was total crap in gameplay and storyline and the the 3rd is... what? different somehow? when did GOW3 become a big deal to anyone who isnt a football loving dumbass form USA? I look down on gamers thinking this is worth any more celebration than the second game.. what the hell happened?

    pretty soon, nearly all games will have a midnight launch. then the big titles will have a "pre launch launch". it is strange that in the UK at least, where most ppl complain of cuts in this and that, strike action through december, non existant pay rises etc etc, that these people can spend a lot of their time queing, then buying and no doubt, playing all night on a tuesday, only to throw a sickie from work / uni/school the next day. im jealous, i really am. what is really the matter with getting it when a shop opens on the morning of the day??
