A mighty ten minute gameplay video of this 360 exclusive strategy title based on Bungie's Halo universe. Despite how much work has clearly gone into this impressive looking title, it seems the budget fell short of some decent voice-over talent.

Kinda of weird to see Halo from this perspective.
Only weird thing was the ghosts just hanging back. In the game they zoom around like crazy
Next step for Halo is combination of Halo Wars and Halo FPS

End War looks more interesting in that they managed to shake the PC heritage and make an actual console game (but I can't say I actually got how that works, so maybe it's shit too).

The thing that bothers me is how this will fit into the integrity of the Halo universe. The Covies had been beating the shit out of the humans pre-Halo for 32 years, so playing as the marines should put you at a massive disadvantage.
Also, the Spartan-IIs had never been extensively combat-tested against the Covenant before Master Chief, so does this game intend to re-write the Halo backstory?!

What?
They were beating the shit out of them in space.
You can easily get this game into the Halo universe without any changes.
Looks OK, but the combat needs working on. Each unit is taking far too many hits, the vehicles shouldn't be stationary, and why has every grunt got a needler? FFS the Needler is almost a super weapon FFS. (In game that is)
