Post-apocalyptia isn't something you usually associate with motorsports. Mad Max aside, the scorched earth scenario usually means a paucity of vehicles. Not so with Fuel, although we expect the life expectancy of petrol heads to be quite low.

I don't think there's a game designer in the world who hasn't had at least one third party pitch the idea.
Every time we give potential employees a test to do, my heart sinks the moment I read their opener of "following the Great War, a new sport arises from the ashes, where post-apocalyptic, high-octane gladiators battle for cash, respect and honour..."
