10 times more polygons than forza 2 so why do the cars still look like video game cars and not the real thing? Roll on the xbox 1440 and maybe, just maybe we will finally get cars that look real. Besides I'm trolling, I will be buying DIRT 2 & GRID 2. Forza & Gran Turismo - no thanks.

Its the lighting model they use. Still not quite up there with Polyphony's imho, which is uncannily realistic in the replay modes especially thanks to the camera pans they use.

Looks cool to me, was gonna get the game anyway but this is awesome. Agreed though, while the game does look ace, there is something a bit fishy about the lighting on occasion when put beside GT.
