Forza 2 - BMW Vs. Mercedes

Published 22 May, 2007 Duration 4:54

The two Teutonic Titans of torque face off in this slick gameplay video, showing off many of the different vehicle classes available in the game. Mclaren F1 against a G-reg three series seems a little unfair though.

    *Yawn*

Realistic racers are so sterile and boring. All the racing line and proper braking and minimal contact... I'll take the excitement and fun of FlatOut or Burnout over this any day.

Should we all take the time to post about game genres we have no interest in, claiming them to be dull?

Looking great as always, cant wait to get my teeth into it.

    You can if you want.

Point of fact I have only recently come to the conclusion that 'realistic' racers are not for me, after trying Toca Race Driver 3 on my PS2, and finding myself unable to remain interested for more than about 30 seconds.

I was only expressing a general opinion, not aimed at Forza in particular.

@Trigger - ToCA3 was shit anyway. Gran Tourismo, GTR etc that is what you should try before slating the genre. If you still dont like em than fine...we wont hold it against you ;-)

On a seperate note: looks like there IS HDR in this game...seem to recall people moaning about it.

    GT4 was very boring imo.

    GT3 is better FACT.

I think people were moaning the overuse of HDR to make the cars look less realistic and more like a videogame, than say, Gran Turismo or GTR.

I didnt think GT3 was better. But more to the point, What has an F1 Merc and a G plate beemer got to do with that video?
  • Triggerhappytel #10 5 years ago

Well, I owned GT3 for a while before getting rid of it, and rented GT4 which seemed much the same to me.

I just don't like the genre any more.

Yeah, I had a hard time spotting the McLaren as well.

I have no idea what a "G-reg" 3-series is though so I'm assuming that it's the BMW we're seeing in the video.
