It's finally official, FFXIII will hitting the U.S. and European shelves, on both 360 and PS3 on the 9th of March. Here's an incredibly self satisfied man to introduce you to the people who made it.

Looks good but Leona lewis? WTF? The game actually looks alot of fun though. The battle system quick and fast paced. Cant wait for the latest instalment in an incredible series

Errr... Looks to me that battles aren't random, if you see an enemy on the field you can run up to it and have a fight - you can see them all around in the bit on the chocobo.

That said, pretty cringeworthy trailer even for a hardcore fan of the franchise like me.

Leona Lewis? Who's idea was that? Some PR prick. Or Simon Cowell. Don't mind her and not heard the song, so can't comment on song choice, but its all PR crap to grab people's attention that don't normally bother. I feel sorry for her, as she's not been picked for her 'talent', but merely her tabloid grabbing power over here.
Looking forward to the game though, and whoever put the comment about they should have used a better combat video - f**k off you moron. That clip would appeal to FF fans tired of the staggered combat, and non FF fans who are put off because they see FF as slow. Think about it...

Surely I wasn't the only one thinking that the chap in the suit was an utter douche?

I've not played an FF since VII and a small section of VIII, so I can't exactly say I'm even remotely hyped about this, and the brief selection of gameplay footage they decided to showcase wasn't particularly awe-inspiring. Meh.
