Whilst the trailer itself looks stunning (As does all FF FMV, as a rule), it doesn't really make me feel excited about the game. The presence of both fantasy and sci-fi aspects in the trailer give me the im[ression the game wants to attract both audeinces and as a result can't really decide what aspect it wants to embrace more. I'll probably give this a miss, whch frustrates me - I've always wanted to get into the Final Fantasy series, but can't seem to do it.

Final Fantasy has sold the best with the 'sci-fi' feeling, 7 & 8 sold pretty good, then again 9 didn't (it had a medieval theme). Final Fantasy XIV will be going for the medieval theme with the FFXIV races, and adding some high end stuff, maybe that'll sell more?

This game will sell like hot cakes, even if the game is good or bad.
