Now, we're never ones to invite argument, but we'd like you to have a little look at these videos - one of sprites and gameplay, the other a cinematic - and then have a sensible, rational discussion about whether the second is really possible on a DS.

The DS can do prerendered movies, there's even a trailer floating around showing how they're using the two screens during the cutt scenes, quite nice actaully.

The second is soooo not a DS cinematic..
more likely to be footage created specially for TV/internet advertising.

The DS does do prerendered movies, we see them in other games aswell, like Lunar Nights.
How good they look simply depends on how much money and time the developer spends on them.
And since Squar Enix has an excelent in house animation team, you can bet your ass Revenant Wings will have nice movies.
