They don't seemed to have improved the in-battle graphics much apart from the spell animations - the monster sprites look the same for example
I hope they have more story-battles and fewer random grinds, I found that I had to get through loads of identikit battles between each one which had some exposition = tedious
Hopefully they will not have retained the card-rules thing either, that was a pain
