Square-Enix's accessible Final Fantasy takes a departure from the basics of many titles in the series, featuring an entirely new battle system and a much smaller world than long-term fans might be used to. The hardcore need not despair though, Rob Fahey, an RPG aficionado if ever there was one, saw fit to grant it an 8.
