Ubisoft's continuation of the Far Cry franchise was initially buried under comparisons with Crytek's separate development path, but the Dumia engine has proven that the game is making great strides of its own. Here's hoping that there's substance underneath all of that style.

Kind of makes you realise that the crisis engine was made just to drum up sales for crytek as their old engine was perfectly useable and in fact probably runs a lot better than their new one if a recent play through of far cry 1 is anything to go by.

I was all ready to write this off when Crytek moved on, but it's actually looking rather special. Definitely one that's towards the top of my watch list.

Loved Crysis, loved Far Cry, no reason to expect that this game will not reach the standard that made me love those two.

it does look nice but im not sure whether or not i like the setting in africa :S it is nice but from really colourful jungle to very muddy and dusty, i dunno yet maybee im being a bit picky, looks ok to play tho.

Looks great. My dad is from Zimbabwe and they really nailed the colors and feel, it's very impressive. Can't wait for this, just hope the AI is good.

Looks great and I'm glad it's coming to consoles, but I didn't like Instincts so I will wait and see with this one.

Admittedly it looks a lot, lot better than that, though.
