For all those who missed out on...this surely is a great chance to experience it.
Visuals are old but the game is great fun. Unfortunately I've had my dose of Fallout and it feels like I don't need another for years to come :D

I wanted to love the FO games so much - honestly.
    Brought them both.
But I just couldn't get passed the crap graphics & animations.

Finally a GotY edition...this box is when Bethesda games are truly done and released imho...prior it's unfinished beta.

I finished NV and toward the end it became a bit of a chore. I know the world is bigger and there's a lot more to do but I didn't really connect with it the way I did with Fallout 3. Looking for the guy who tried to kill you has been done a million times, searching for your dad who's off on his own perilous mission was definitely something you really wanted to involve yourself in.

    HELL YES

Speaking as someone without Xbox Live this will be a great investment.

@natec87 I'm with you on this.. When you catch up with pops for the first time in Fallout 3 it felt special..

If NV was a new game in the same way that Skyrim is, then it would've been less familiar.

Entering the strip for the first time was such an underwhelming experience…

    The writing was great though..

I'm currently playing my way through Fallout 3, I have the GOTY edition. Which is ace, I'm having a great time with it. Will definitely be getting this at some point.

I'd like to propose a toast. To Obsidian, for making a REAL successor to Fallout 1 and 2.

Might sell my old copy and get this. I haven't really connected with Vegas like i did with FO3 though, perhaps because i put 60+ odd hours into fallout.

But the world, graphics and story just didn't seem as well connected.

But anyway, if the price is good. might give it another go.

awesome game. still havnt had the time to finish Old World Blues, or even start Lonesome Road as they both got released when too many new games came out... i had my 'fill' of Fallout NV by August, seens i had played it for most of the year. I'm sure there will be a period of months in 2012 where there will be no good games so i can dig this out and truely finish all DLC

Just asking... Is it fixed? Has it been patched? Its collecting dust on my shelf...

Will have to give this a replay soon.

I miss my skin-tight stealth suit and anti-materiel rifle. Apparently those deathclaws in the quarry were meant to be a challenge. I wouldn't know anything about that. And to think I started out as a near dead cowboy in rags shooting a damaged pistol that had a hard time penetrating warm butter. I came a long way, baby.

    @Fruitsalad - I want what your smokin'

My god, stop re-releasing dated, buggy crap already!
And get to work on FO4 (and please try not to make it suck)
