Just when you thought Beyond Black Mesa was going to be the best fan-made videogame tribute you would see this week...

Well written, well acted, good characterisation, effortlessly funny. Overall, hugely entertaining - and that from someone who has never played a Fallout game. I'll let others comment on its faithfulness to the Fallout universe; but the little nods I picked up on, like the one to VATS, were handled perfectly and didn't jar at all.

I hope the post-credits sequence implies there are plans for more and that Bethesda gives them the backing they deserve.

Brilliant I would rather pay my TV license fee to setup a channel where stuff like this can be showcased, rather than endure the shitty soaps and other programmes on TV at the moment.

Actually, this is pretty much the best game-to-film adaptation I've ever seen.

Look, film makers! Look how you can retain the tone of the source material, whilst also creating something vaguely watchable!

EA / Bethesda should shove a couple of mil there way and get them to do a feature.
