Probably elsewhere, waiting for a worthy sequel.

Plus, the gameplay itself really looks mediocre, compared to GoW for instance. Blood, gore, blood waagh!!! Meh. My hope just faltered a bit more.

The VAT system allows fight scenes to be paused and give the player a breakdown of the opponents strengths and weaknesses allowing the player to target their attacks

And: "trying to copy bioshock a little with the cartoon style intro." - best thing I've read in the internets in a long time.
edit: T4RG4 - shareware? What?

The game part of the video totally turned me off.

Looks so much like so many other "over the shoulder" games that any WOW factor has long since disappeared.
I am trying to find where I book my space in the underground vault though... any ideas? Looks like it'll be a huge gang bang to me!!!!

Anyway, I prefer the TV stuff from the teaser, the clip in this one was far too clean. I liked the in-game vistas though. As for the gameplay, I wouldn't comment until people have actually tried it.

Fallout was just an unofficial sequel to Wastelands - if the internets had been as densely populated, I'm sure people would have been whining about all the changes back then too.
Ah, Wastelands....
The dog's not from Fable. It's from "A boy and his dog", via Fallout1. It's a post-apocalyptic staple.

I'm 50/50 on this. I'm firmly in the Fallout Fanboy camp, and i would loved to have seen it keep its isometric roots, but sometimes change is a good thing. Looking forward to more on this.
P.S - The Dog is actually a reference to Mad Max in Fallout. Anyone else actually think it was more fun to join the mutant army?
