Never really been a fan of Fable as it's always promised so much and offered very little, Molyneaux and crew are experts at pulling the wool over your eyes.

Will wait for the reviews before falling for it this time.

The trailers nice but does it really have any bearing on the game play? Are you actually going to be getting into battles like that? Everything I have read so far on this says no and realistically I am not expect Fable 3 to be that different to 2.

Slow motion makes stuff look nice, but no gameplay in this trailer.
Wasn't that impressed with Fable III at the Eurogamer Expo. I'm hoping it plays better than it looks.

I'm really looking forward to Fable 3, but I have to say I was left a bit cold by that trailer. It was very pretty, but I was kind of expecting gameplay when I read a subtitle of "new footage". That could have just as easily been a trailer for a new Civilisation game as it could Fable.

Seems I'm in the minority though. I guess slo-mo battle scenes and moody music can still turn heads

That could have just as easily been a trailer for a new Civilisation game as it could Fable.

If you ask me, a cross between Fable and Civilization sounds like the most awesome thing in the world.

As much as I can't wait for Fable III I didn't actually like that trailer all that much though I can appreciate what they are trying to do with it.

I agree with Kangarootoo, at the end of that admittedly very nice looking trailer, I was left thinking so where's the new gameplay footage, thanks to the somewhat misleading subtitle.

Agreeing with the people who thought that this was all kinds of awesome but not a great indication of the game itself.

This is a gazillion times better way of building hype among the gaming community than having PM bang on about dogs with flowery language every chance he gets... Peter is a concept conjouring genius but he needs to know when to lead the charge and when to take his hands off and let his team run with things.

Looks like he's moving in that direction with this one.

That actually makes me a lot more interested in Fable 3 than I had been previously - thing is, are those just some interesting cut scenes or is that a reflection of what happens in game? Well, Peter?
