I wasn't at all interested in fable III (didn't even finish II as it was such a "slow" game (not the actual game mind you, but the menu's and loading etc.)
This trailer does what a good trailer is supposed to be doing, exciting! Fantastic story telling also, visual sadism I haven't seen since Sam Raimi's Drag me to Hell : )

Judging by the previous two instalments there isn't a lot to look forward to though.

Odd idea for a Fable game to concentrate on. Even odder execution of the idea. I can imagine the lead cinematic designer crying 'Eureka!' over it and running to Molyneux with a storyboard; it's beautifully detailed, but it's just odd because who, exactly, relates to a chicken?
They get brownie points for getting it kicked into the horizon by a bunch of soldiers, but sadly lose them at the same instant for not including a 'hallo, you must be chicken chaser then' moment anyway.

My take is that it was saying one man/chicken can't defeat evil alone, but instead they have to inspire and lead the people against evil (the voiceover says as much too).
The chicken looked up at the pigeons perched on the statue for support in his final failing moment, but the pigeons did not come to his aid and so he died.
