Fable 2 - Launch trailer

come on friday - looks even a bit better than i was hoping for - graphics look really nice...

Well that trailer successfully showed pretty much nothing about the in-game adventure. Other than that though it looks good..

fable 2 has ALOT of loading screens
was watching a live steam of a yank playing it last week and the game didnt look all that great

Spimmy - a friend of mine has been playing this all weekend and he messaged me this morning to say that it's his GOTY. He plays a lot of games and i respect his views a lot.

You've got to think that the loading screens will be significantly reduced if you install the game to HD when NXE arrives...

I'm really (unexpectedly) looking forward to this game now.

Oh and Spimmy, Oblivion had quite a few loading screens (aka any time you changed region in a city or went into a building), if this game handles it in a similar way it should be fine.

same story as magicpocket here. a friend of mine who works for ms has played right through the beta and he reckons it's the only game he's fully completed in years. keeps telling me to get it.

Graphics looks a bit low-poly/detail and not impressive... but I like the overall art direction and style :)

I liked the different characters at the start that you can become if you so choose. Quite looking forward to this game.
And as BastoJ mentioned about the loading times, as long as they are similar to that of Oblivion then it shouldn't be a problem.

I can't frigging wait. I actually really enjoyed the first one.

And when NXE arrives, hopefully a HDD install will minimize load times.

This has done absolutely nothing to whet my appetite for Fable 2.

If anything it looks rather generic.

I'd love to play the games that make this look generic. I should have been playing them over the last few months... damn!

I'm not slating the game but the guy did a good job of reviewing it i suggest you go back and watch the full review, a gamers opinion is just as valid to me as any journos.

lol damn that is judgemental :) seriously tho ignore his pic and give it another go, i'll still be getting it but its gonna have to wait for me now as Far Cry 2 imo has just pipped it to the post.

To be honest, I'm already sold on this anyway, especially after EG's 10, woot \o/! I've been ignoring Far Cry 2 a lot since the first one, I really didnt get on with it on the Xbox, but have been hearing good things about the second game so may re-evaluate that. Still, Fable 2 has me very excited so an easy option for me!

Well after reading the EG review i'm still not hugely convinced, i'm as obviously sceptical as your judgemental...still may as well check tesco on the way home from work just in case :P lol

Why is the US getting this game before us? It's developed here in the UK is it not? Or perhaps it is manufactured elsewhere, but that still makes little sense.

What an awesome trailer. I'm not bothered about the gameplay, I just want the dog! :)

Thursday just can't come soon enough and then I've got a long, four day weekend to enjoy this, Dead Space, Midnight Club: L.A. and MotoGP '08! Gaming heaven... can't wait!

the first fable didn't impress me much visually when I first played it but I grew to appreciate the graphics the more I played it, I found. I think this one will probably be the same...

Looks good and like a fairytale. Can't wait to play it!
