*shrugs* 30 FPS is a bit of a pain in the arse, but given that they are trying to do dynamic weather and track conditions alongside 24 cars running on the same circuit at the same time, I can understand why it's been done.

F1 CE was a PS3 launch title in 2007 and managed a rock sold 60fps frame-rate with 24 cars and weather effects. Ok, not the best graphics but it was basicly a PS2 port and I'm sure the same framerate can be possible in 2010 with better graphics.

I would take 30fps over a restrictive car limit any day of the week. "Racing" with just 7 other cars would barely be allowed to happen in any form of circuit championship, yet as gamers it's pretty much the norm.
