Even Crysis - a PC exclusive - outlined enemies for you on easier difficulty settings. Left 4 Dead, a game made by developers that have been loyal to the PC crowd, also sports outlines not only on enemies, but things you can interact with, like health packs (durrrr wuts a medkit).
