Also, as an aside, 0.59 seemed a little bit too close to WTC collapse.
EDIT: Keyword there was "just". I was only saying because I'm a huge RE fan and the direction on the consoles isn't the way i'd hoped the series would go. While this doesn't look like a return to form, this does look closer to RE4, which is where I draw the line in REs evolution.
I wasn't saying this to rob the 3DS of its exclusivity, it was just one fan's wishful thinking. Out loud

Developed from ground up for a certain platform to take full advantages of the features are always among the best. Ie Uncharted, Super Mario 64 and so on.
Though it may be possible Capcom would later port the game, happened before but I m glad of my 3DS as good games lately and will get my winter dark evening gaming hours properly serviced!
Last year it was Dead Space 2 and Silent Hill delayed and my annual scare/thriller addiction rest on this game, and thankfully not Amy!

I read it, and it didn't seem very positive to me. Gubbins story, bad structure, shallow, shatters immersion, "almost feels as if it was designed with the attention span of the average ios gamer", "tiring repetition of the same few enemies", "uninspired boss battles".

The movie was so bad that I forgot about it.

Some people, however, want to see exact console experiences crammed into a handheld. Those who do would hate episodic gameplay.

Of course, because the average iOS gamer certainly doesn't play anything like Monkey Island, Chaos Rings or, say, DonPachi. Dear oh dear oh dear.

I agree with @JAGUARCD32x on Peace Walker. It was a perfect fit for a handheld that felt like a "proper" MGS game but could easily be played in short bursts if you wanted.
I guess it's all in the execution, and the "previously on..." bits sound like they've not been implemented very well. I would wait for a review, but since I don't have a 3DS and don't plan on getting one any time soon I don't have to worry.

I'm just a sucker for Resi, though, so this is a certain purchase for me.

Only three other reviews there. And one of them is GamesMaster (snigger), and another is Nintendo Power, a single-format magazine whose reviews aren't exactly known to be reliable.
