The EG TV streaming is not very smooth...

Hey, couldn't you find the fire button???
Hold on. That looks suspiciously like a finished game. With still no release date. And EG is being shown it, with nary a hint of a preview or first impressions article despite it being a major game. And Sony have a big announcement on PSN coming with the revamp.
Shamelessly adding 1+1+1 to get 5, I reckon we're gonna get WipEout HD as a flagship release for the new PSN in a couple of weeks.
And to stretch credibility further, I'm going to predict that it'll be a freebee (wasn't it originally touted as a free GT HD type maxi demo before the full PS3 WipEout later in the year?). I'm betting they've realised that it's a AAA proposition, but will make the cash on DLC 2097 tracks later (sold).
Here's hoping.

the announcers sound daft tbh, the man at the start sounds like a commentator from a 70's fa cup game. the woman is just annoying, "rock-its hihi ^_o" fu!
fix it scousers!

It's sad that the resolution of the video is so low and the video has that many artifacts. GametrailersHD is much better in that regard.

I'm looking forward to this way more than I did with GT5P (which I'm already pretty bored with because of the low number of tracks). Probably because I've already got plenty of regular racing games, but WipEout on the other hand takes me back to the good old days of '95 where I played the original - and generally had a pretty entertaining year overall if I recall correctly
I really hope this is indeed going to be the promised surprise when the new store launches - though with SCEE I'm a little hesitant to get my hopes up. At all.
