You sure it's not saying "come look at the train wreck"?

I always thought it was pronounced tabooola, not tab-you-la.

I don't want to sound like a dick or anything... but does anyone actually like this game enough to spend hours playing it?

I gave it a go for about 2 days and didn't find any kind of enjoyment in it at all, it just felt messy and at the same time very simplistic in that all you really did was stand around pressing a mouse button over and over again during combat.

Have they fixed the "it's a big pile of wanky drivel" thing yet?

Several months in, I think most of the people who thought this was a nice concept that could only be improved (me included) are tired of the lack of updates and content. Hybrids and bug fixes were great but there have been such massive void gaps in missions from mid-30's up, that many people are just bored. There's a LOT of work to be done on the missions and experience side of things, because it really is too much grind (especially since I play 2-3 evenings a week and I'm in the void zone).

I do still believe that Tabula Rasa has a lot of potential still. The combat is no more simple than most other MMO's. But it still needs serious work, the missions need tweaking, some of the difficulty needs addressing, oh. And whilst I agree the looks are cool, more customisation would be awesome. And some new armour designs. Possibly alien. From instances.

I just love being in a minority.

Tccch. Tabula Rasa. Tab-you-ler rah-sah. Means clean slate. And I only got a C at GCSE Latin. Don't you people know any Latin at all?

Kind of nice to know that I was in fact wrong in my feeling that only the lack of a free trial to make sure stood between me and an MMO that wasn't tedious as hell.
