Exclusive: Stuntman Ignition - Teaser

Published 28 February, 2007 Duration 0:32

Everybody loves a stuntman; the glamour, the excitement, the whiff of danger. Usually people are slightly put off by the severed limbs and internal injuries. Now you can have all the fun and none of the fractures with THQ's Stuntman: Ignition.

Is this a sequel to the brilliant Stuntman by Reflections?

    What an obvious rendered cutscene.

Oh dear. Not a good idea to release this at the same time as the ugly screenshots that have absolutely nothing in common with this trailer.

Hmmmm - think it is one of those ideas that sounds like it should be amazing - but the restrictive nature of the subject matter ( stunts in controlled enviroments) doesn;t lend itself well to this format. Is crying out for sand box freeform (more like TonyHawks for cars kinda thing) wiat a minute thats CrackDown with the Suv Agency vehicle at 4xStar driving ability! lol

Reflections did a game called stuntman several years ago now and it was a great game, punishingly hard in places as you had to do all the stunts in 1 take. If they cure a few of the bugs (physics weren't quite right for example) it should be a good game if it bears any resemblance to that game.

heh - not like I'm not open about it, and since people were asking...

it's all on the EG front page now in any case

btw, in case you're still not sure - GP'07 is definitely being done by Climax, as I was down there to look at it in December :)

this was a THQ Public Service Announcement

Now I know why your name is OnlyMe. :)

The game may have been good on paper but the actual piece of software you bought in the shops was completely ruined by the loading times and the difficulty level.

yet i managed to finish that particular stuntman game and yes it was bloody hard

    Really, really nice

From what I've seen so far, '07 will go down as the definitive MotoGP - we're all aware of what it needs to be the best one ever

re: Stuntman - we know exactly what people didn't like about the last one, and we're fixing it

Ignition: great, addictive racing game by little known Swedish software house. Oh wait, that was 1997!
