Exclusive: Spore - Creature creator pt.1

Published 22 May, 2008 Duration 4:30

Who hasn't wanted to play God? To dirty your magnificent hands with the filthy genetic minutiae of species manipulation is to become creator, to inherit a little of the divine. Of course, some Gods are more more sensible than others. So it is with great pride, and no shame whatsoever, that we present you with one of our very first creations: Minkley Jr. Start worshipping now.

Ha - ha - it's almost like using a real 3D model editor. Two thumbs up!

Wow, that has actually now removed the interest I had in Spore, I'm sure when it was announced to the press it was not nearly as goofy, and the premise of having the game work out an actual functioning skeletal structure based on your choices appears to have been shot in the head. That thing has to be full of helium to walk as it does.

That fat arsed thing needed 2 more legs.

That's utterly revolting. Now I too am less interested, not more; the disgusting art style is killing this game.

Well yes, assuming the gravity and atmospherical conditions are exactly the same as on earth. But I'm sure you'd be able to amuse yourself making anatomically perfect clay monsters. you know, to impress the ladies.

Oliver, the rest of the game would suggest that yes, gravity is basically the same. And even if it was an environment that would allow such a thing to stand on such placed legs there would be not enough gravity to allow traction to move around as it does.

I'm bitter because the game started out with better ideas than this shows.
