A bit like those things at supermarket checkouts, except for terrorists instead of beans, the thermal scan does a quick recce of the current floor and highlights all the sneaky tangos trying to hide in the shadows like scardey cats.

Another day, another Vegas 2 video.

In fact, where is the thermal scan?! Is this video simply randomly titled to try and sound exciting...?!

this game doesnt look that challenging on the videos. hope they havnt took away the thermal vision and replaced it with a radar.

Nay, don't you read those things EG write when they post the important videos? It's true they're in an awkward navigational position.
Anyway, the thermal scan is indeed the blue radar with dots in the upper right of the screen. Could be useful - except in this video enemies only appear on the radar after you've had plenty of time to see them and say hi and die fiery deaths.
