Yes it's FMV (Full Motion Video) not CGI (Computer Generated Imagery) as in-game video would be CGI too.

Just to clarify the video is not actual in-game footage, but the footage was created with the use of rendered in-game models.

I'm currently more excited about this than ArmA2 since this actually seems like a proper sequel. Flashpoint with all the bells and whistles of this gen will be something to behold.

Don't know why NATO is joining forces with Russia. More likely to beat up on them alongside the Chinese the way the wankers are currently behaving.

Easily my most anticipated game of the last few years, though slightly worried BI aren't doing it. I know it's a FMV but I can't help but think the actually game won't look too far off it, considering what OFP1 was like.

If they capture the balls-to-the-wall atmosphere of the original game, which scared the hell out of me, then with these kind of gritty hell in a handbasket style scenarios PLUS better graphics it could be insane.

I never found out if that screenshot they released (the first) was in-game or not. Because it was gorgeous.

Triggerhappytel: it's a fictional island, like in the first game... the first game was set on a (few) nice big island (s) which you could wander all over in any mission if you wanted to - the last mission involves making a journey over the whole island, without loading screens or anything...

I believe one of the big features of OpFlash2 is that they will retain this "go anywhere, no load" type of map, including in multiplayer - think BF2142 but muuuch bigger and muuuch more detailed

looks like cgi to me too Amajiro . if its not, its clearly not console ( not till 2015 AD at least ) . or as Mr - Brett states FMV . whats the differece ? If its in game , I WILL buy a �2000-00 Pc and 2 grafix cards to play it . I think my cash is safe .
