I played this at the expo and it was well worth the 40+ minute wait. The best arcade style FPS I've ever played - pure run 'n' gun madness.

very very true, what woos was palying this on that difficulty setting? try playing it on expert mode (as I do steam name alexjev) look for me as friend and we will go through on expert.

This is obviously on a very easy difficulty, but I can understand why it was. It's not really interesting viewing to go out the safe room and die straight away, over and over.

There's a single player campaign where you run through with 3 AI bots which isn't bad. That's what's showcased here. But it's most fun when you have three friends and you're on expert mode.

What you're looking at is the campaign, ie the online maps but with bot friends instead. Also I echo oxymoron, it's much more fun and hectic on Expert.

So.. is there a story to this or is all you do shoot endless amounts of grey people while shouting "reloading" every five seconds? Looks incredibly dull.

I want to like this but i think it looks a bit crappy, at least graphically it looks dated. I guess its good fun when you play with friends though.

Looking forward to try the demo. Think the engine looks way past it though and the game is a little too 'Arcade' for my liking. I want to be holed up in a large house as a few, scary as hell, zombies try to get inside!

Been playing this evening. It's one of those games I so want to love, but the demo has me considering cancelling my pre-order (Xbox).

Its pretty much shoot, shoot, shoot, shoot. Pause, shoot, shoot. Which isnt all that bad single player, because there is no lag and its as easy to take a zombies head off as it is their leg

But online it would not register my shots quick enough and it made the delayed zombie impact so poor that I started to hate playing it online. It could well only be me thats suffering here, but I expected it to work well as I do not have this problem with any other online FPS and I was under the impressive uber dedicated servers meant lag was unlikely.

This is single player and they can't be playing it on more than normal. This really isn't an accurate representation of the game, it's so much more fun that this makes it look.

It's a total blast. Play it with a with a couple friends and it is easily one of the best co-op experiences ever. Even single player is fun.
