Sadly Sheffield's premier snooker venue has undergone a bit of a refit for Fable 2. Contestants, rather than entering into a spot of refined gentlemanly sportsmanship, must battle their way through sequentially harder rounds of beasties in order to win experience and rewards. Actually, Ronnie O'Sullivan would probably be quite good at this.

Why?

I like the shooting
Otherwise seems the same as fable 1 (no bad thing when it comes to combat)

i guess this is a arena fight or something, doesn't look fun at all.

For those who don't know what's going - go to the back of class. It's pretty obvious.

Plus the commentator talking over himself is a bug if you ask me.

I'm guessing this is a side-quest/extra activity thing? If so then I'm positive the actual game is better.

Slowing down time and the Assassin Rush are a must though.

Doesn't look crap at all, I didn't know it would be looking so cool. **consideration to purchase a 360 grows**

It's a rather stunted video, sorry - and a bit muddied by our encoding process. I was struggling to find things that wouldn't give the game away too much but also show what was going on. I'm also super brilliant and make it all seem easy. Cough. Plus, that was about my fifth time through there - great way to earn experience, incidentally.
I've just finished the campaign and have been playing for a fair while and I still don't find the combat boring, despite the deceiving simplicity. I started with a wizard in mind, but started maxing spells so I moved on to other abilities - I'm pretty much an jack of all trades now, so I wouldn't worry about specialising too much.
Hitting an area effect spell, then slowing down time and cutting down three or four enemies at once before whipping the gun out to shoot a straggler in the head is great fun. Empowering, too.
We did this quite quickly, too, with no editing to chop together some exciting bits and so on and so forth, so it may be a bit boring
