Holy shit, that looks a bit good.

Almost wish they also made a proper Sea Dogs-like game with that engine.

Fantastic, the TW series has always been too hard for me, well, ROME was anyway. Perhaps I wasn't patient enough for it.

Looks bloody incredible. Just watching this is making me want to play Sid Meier's Pirates! again, but then I wish that was anywhere near as epic-looking.

Looks pretty bad to me. The actual gameplay footage (!!! all 2 seconds of it) looked graphically sub-par and looked like Age of Empires 3.

What a really strange thing to say. It looks similar to AoE 3 insofar as you see sailing shops from an isometric perspective. It's actual footage, the camera is just further out in the shots with the UI - except in the boarding scene. You can clearly see even in these shots though that the crew is running around, etc.
