Banjo takes a not-so-sedate drive around the single-player Showdown Town, utilising a couple of different vehicles. The second vehicle is upgraded, allowing you to drive up steep slopes to previously inaccessible areas. Once he's found a spot to park, the burly bear takes a quick tightrope walk to a lofty rooftop.

Looking good overall, although I think the characters' sound effects are pretty lame at the moment. There also seemed to be a bit of slowdown in places which I hope is ironed out before release. However, this is looking like one of the more promising 360 games if only for the refreshing colour palette and style.

Promising stuff.

Not a huge fan of Banjo himself as a character, but he'd have to go a long way to get as annoying as Mario (woohooo! /slap).

I love the general look of the world though.
