It's been a long time coming, but ArenaNet's sequel to Guild Wars is finally ready to be unveiled. This long and detailed trailer has both story cinematic and gameplay footage. Looks remarkably far through development.

Hmm, guess I should get EoTN so I can get the GW2 hero rewards.
Looks nice, hope it is as solo-small party friendly as the originals.

The video itself has the annoying stutter pauses, right?

Looks environmentally gorgeous.

Just hope you're not stuck in the same small area for the first half of the levelling process like you were in the original GW.

PS: No stutter here on the 720p stream.

nice looking locations, but not sure about some of the character designs. Looks like different from the first one in terms of style, looks more korean influenced now.

Environments were truly stunning. Seems like a big improvement from the first game overall. Though, I'd say this game's main competitor will be Diablo III, and I certainly can't see Guild Wars 2 winning that competition.

WHen the first one came out was amazingly gorgeous back in the days.... I hope this one is way better in PvP and I'll love it if they skip the basic bad implimentations of the original THIS will be my MMO cause I've been looking for something but all MMOs currently I gave up on them dissapointed...

Admittedly I'm looking forward to Diablo 3 more then I am GW2, but I think from a gamers perspective the competition between the 2 is irrelevant. Both these games are going to be absolutely fantastic and as a Gamer I can say I'm chuffed to bits

i was thinking about getting back into wow but now... this just looks awesome and i don't want to be hooked to wow, wasting my money and missing this when it comes out!!!! could be the next king of mmos, who knows?

okok, wow cataclysm was just announced and looks FRIKKIN INSANE, and a bit odd, but yeah... really want em both. AHHHH confusion (((( i dunno what to do...

If this turns out to be open-world, a la EQ and WoW colour me very, very interested. Been a while since an up and coming MMORPG has captured my interest so much.

I hate instanced games with a passion and whilst I live with limited instancing, constant instancing like in Guild Wars was a real turn off.
