Exclusive: Bionic Commando - Fissure combat

Need 2 votes!

Tom's obviously absolutely amazing at BC now, and the way he flaps around pathetically at the start and gets killed are blips. However, he does some neat things to a polycraft, and this section - the Fissure - is about halfway through the game.

Frankly, the reason I didn't fire is that the weapons combat isn't brilliant. The tarantula rocket launcher is fun (a bit Panzer Dragoony, even), and the sniper rifle is competent, but a lot of the other weapons pale next to the zip-kicks and rock-throwing antics.

Does it feel as clunky as it looks? The combat I mean.

Actually, providing you don't rely on weapons, the combat fits quite snugly into the flow of the game. BC is generally fiddly, but only slightly clunky.

i think that looks pretty cool. Hes a bit like spidy isn't he? Even down to some of his melee combat moves! :)

I love the person who decided to give the enemies torches - it really helps to pick out their otherwise brownish forms in the gloom, and really adds to the atmosphere.

Im surprised actually because this wasn't on my radar at all.
