If I wasn't shit at playing spacegames I would have tried EVE a long time ago. The trailer ist fantastic and something in me says 'try it out' but I know I won't be good at it and it would end in more frustration than fun - I still have that bankheist incident in mind.

Gurrah, I highly recommend you give this a go, its nothing like freespace or x-wing if thats what you are thinking, and there are always 14-day free trials if you want...

It's like having a second life. Except it's a second life where you have a really, really complex, time consuming job. Which earns you no money. I enjoyed it for a couple of months then drowned in it. I can see how people would love it if they had the time and dedication though, it's a beautiful, hugely in-depth, one of a kind game.

I'd love to try it but simply do not have the time and would probably get caned by huge ships belonging to people playing since launch :-(
