    I like the retro for it raw stopping power at short distance, but maybe I really should consider the lancer more; it's got virtually no recoil, relatively easy active reload plus the chainsaw does have the odd useful moment...Hmmmm

    well there's probably a lot of casual players who use the lancer because it's one of the things gow made popular with the chainsaw attachment, it's an assualt rifle, shotguns may seem intimidating to them and it takes a while to learn ti use then and it's on the cover. it's the same thing with charcters in fighting games, for example ken and ryu are probably the most used in sf and scorpion and sub zero are the most used in mk. i'm surprised at the 1% statistic ragerding the sawn off but then again that quite a difficult weapon to master.
