    Why do developpers always optimize the xbox version more than the PS3 version even though the PS3 has slightly better hardware ? is it because it's easier ? cheaper ? or something else ?

    anyways if it turns out good, it's obvious i'll take the xbox version, runs smoother as you can see above

    You'd think after having a ps3 game under their belt Ninja Theory would be able to optimise that version even more...but these fools still can't sort the frame rate out. Just as choppy as Heavenly Sword.

    The 360 is basically a PC so porting code is a lot smoother to it whereas a Ps3 is completely different architecture and requires a lot more hard work. Devs such as Criterion and Rocksteady have shown that multiplats can be superior on the PS3 but these are punks that have just fooked up DMC so I'm not too surprised...

    played the demo on my PS3 and xbox 360.. and from my perspective the game feels smoother on the xbox 360, so I'm definitely buying the game for xbox 360.

    I too have played the demo on both systems, the only reason I did it was because I had already played it first on ps3 and the gameplay/graphics seemed nearly as good as the 1st uncharted, So when I saw the demo on the marketplace for xbox i HAD to get it just to see how it handled, I woulda laid money on it being worse but to my surprise in most places (combat especially) the framerate is more solid on the xbox, but it is just as playable on both systems. i thought it was the game itself was a nice 7.5/10 and left me wanting more.

    It looks very similar to Uncharted... I'm off to get the demo now!

    "vs. Digital Foundry performance tools"

    The advertorials for DF's products are becoming unapologetic.

    @Seehuusen
    The PS3 doesn't have universally better hardware; both machines have some hardware that is better at certain things than the complementary hardware in the other. When code is written in ways that suit the hardware of one machine more than the other, a noticable performance difference can occur.

    After innumerable Face-Offs and analysis features, some people still don't seem to get this.
