I have to correct something in that vid. CF made UMD a thing of the past, Sony are just playing catch up :)

It's nice, I'm warming to it and I'd like one but not at the price it's going for and I lose all my emualtors and PS1 going official. Can't give up VICE and FUSE now I'm in the Retro Game Of The Week Group! :)

If DA works his magic though (i'm sure he will) I'm in....Once it hits a realistic price.

Interested in the controller blue tooth option, could create some interesting multiplayer potential.

Having fiddled with one. The controls are rediculously placed. Unless you play most games on the D-Pad (not to far fetched I guess)your stuffed. The analogue nub is in the completely wrong place and the screen (when opened ) cuts into your fingers as you try to press the shoulder buttons.

I feel quite sorry for anyone who buys this.

Please can people stop spelling ridiculous with "red" at the start. Perfectly intelligent people who should know better keep making this error, and it makes a vein stand out in my neck.

Thankyou.

Red button is on the other side of the camera! Hehe :x

Looks pretty horrible though... very uncomfortable (although I need to hold one really). The gigantic screen on the old PSPs was part of what made them so good too.

I really like this.

Don't sure why he was comparing to everything he could get his hands on though.

Nice and all that but I still have the original PSP and I've not touched it for nearly a year and a half due to bugger all coming out that's been of interest to me.

Hmmm I've not seen anything that entices me to part with my cash.

Edit: Oh yes, nice overview EG

I'm still undecided on whether I should get this. I will if there's an App store. :)

Am I the only one who spent the majority of that video getting an intense urge to wipe the fingerprints and grease off that thing. Christ, I need to get a life!

I'll wait for the one with the right-analogue, touch-screen and motion control. Analogue L+R buttons should be possible at this stage too.

This one's fine for early adopters with plenty of spare cash during the recession, and those who have not yet taken the PSP plunge and have faith in Sony's new Kaz flavoured ambitions.

I expect the next one to arrive in 3 years, tops.
