So what does the turntable do exactly. It looks to me like you could play this game with a normal pad.

It will be interesting to see how well this does.
I am not sure this will be as accessible as GH.

"the game will appeal to a much broader audience than any music game before"

Wow bold claim!!

Looks like a lot of effort has been put in to it.

Is it just me or does that look crap, sitting there with a plastic turntable that doesn't move much while pressing big plastic buttons, no sale!

@McLovin - check out the clips on YouTube, there's plenty to give you a flavour of how to play. There was a clip from the developer/producer a couple of weeks back which explains the process. Still, it looks absolutely rock hard beyond the basics.

The platter moves as much as a real turntable's, i.e. through a full 360 degrees. You can do a spinback during a track to repeat a section of a song to get more points.

I'm going to reserve judgement until I've actually played it.

I'd agree, give it a go. I'm a bit peripheralled out to be honest but this looks way better than Ride and it's obvious that there is a whole lot of passion on the Dev studio to not just be another GH.

I personally don't like that kind of music but I admit it could be great fun.

Being a bedroom DJ myself, I like the idea where this is going, but they took the fun part out of it for me, but if it was really about DJing then it would sound like shit when you have ago.

Anyway seems interesting.

What I find weird is, he was pressin' buttons real quick and the song just stuttered.
