A hugely atmospheric and somewhat gory cinematic trailer for Silicon Knights' Norse Mythology inspired third-person action extravaganza. Step into the shoes of Baldur, a cybernetic God trying to save humanity from a plague of meat-grinding robots.

From what I can see, crap art style. Gameplay vids from E3 last year, though, look nothing like this whatsoever, sort of bargain-bin high-techy Devil May Cry. Hope it's somewhat improved.

1. It's poorly directed;
2. Shooting looks really weak. In fact, the moment when the protagonist pulled the trigger was when it all went downhill for me.

The action's a bit flat and generic and even if the action was awesome, that's not what I expect from Silicon Knights. Big robots are for Metal Gear Solid, a Silicon Knights game should have mysticism, a huge story and arcane powers.
Maybe I'm a bit opinionated because of Legacy of Kain and Eternal Darkness, but they're the masters of videogame storytelling and that just doesn't show in this trailer at all.

Good point i never noticed it, the main character would be right at home in a futuristic fable. The similarities are uncanny.

For a god he was kind of a pansy though and should've been able to punch the snot outta that robot without too much trouble. Then again, Baldur *is* the pansy god among the Scandinavian gods (it's not only Norway who has these gods you know
