we have a troll, I really don't know what else to say, the AI on this doesn't look brilliant but the rest isn't looking bad.

Anyone remember that kids program 'reboot'

That sort of 3rd person shot of samus shooting those 2 bad dudes reminded me of it.

I think wanking over an xbox would b so much more satisfying than trying to play an fps with the wireless wii controls...

    @statix101

Because of course, as everyone knows, better graphics make a better game.

If you're going to troll at least say something original dick head!

It's a sad state of affairs when people prefer to masturbate rather than master the Wii-mote and Nunchuk controllers. Are all Xbox fan boys’ wankers?

Why do we have to watch daft cunts with the Wiimote on every Wii video? Other than that, this looks a lot like the other two only slightly prettier.

I got bored by Echoes because I felt it was too similar to the first. I hope this doesn't suffer the same fate.

I would love to view comments on a wii video without people saying

"Wii is a gimmicky pile of shit"

    or

    "omg wii is underpowered"

that's a separate issue, guys! I love my wii and love to see videos for it without seeing it trashy, unhelpful comments from people.

its not as impressive of every thing else thats comin out...

besides the wii cant take those kind of graphics its meant for cute cartoons which dont have much detail....
  • Moz #14 5 years ago

This looks ok, if a little wooden (thats the movement not the graphics)

But on the graphics side, yes graphics aren't everything but for those people who have 360/PS3/PC you get used to being able to have the graphics and the gameplay.

The Wii is a brilliant system, and great for people who haven't spent lots of time with an HD system. I like my Wii for fun cartoony games. But having played the likes of GoW and Resistance you can't help but choose them over the Wii's offering in the FPS genera

Once the novelty of the control system wears off, this looks like a very average game. Where's the fun in shooting if the targets are barely moving? I appreciate that shooting isn't everything in a traditional Metroid game, but the new control scheme compares it even more (unfavourably in my opinion) to the FPS.

Of any console the Wii seems best suited for a FPS because of the controllers. It seems they should be the ones that best emulate the mouse+keyboard. No?
  • huxathon #17 5 years ago

I still think FPS's should be played on PC's, joypads really are quite useless, but this looks as though it has potential seeing as the remote is the closest you're going to get on the trusty wasd setup. I like the idea of yanking armor off the enemies.
The graphics look a little simplistic but you know, I don't really care anymore, visuals in games kinda reached a peak. If the game's good, then it's good. The only way the Wii can be limited by it's power is if it tried to do a game on the scale of Ninety-nine Nights, but even then I'm sure they'd find a way.
