LOVE the mission objective written on the environment.

Er, and where's the stealth? And wtf is up with the super fast shimmeying along the wall, it's like Prince of Persia or somethng :/

Looks alright I suppose... more like James Bond than James Bond really. Graphics look pretty great apart from some horribly low-res building textures and it's very nice to see that there's no sign of the trademark Ubisoft screen tearing which plagued Double Agent on the 360 and just about every other game from that publisher!

Love the looks of this, It's still very "Jason Bourne" but I liked that idea when they first pitched it anyway.

Make me want to play some SC!

As awesome as that looks, I gotta say I'm a little bit dissapointed.
It seems more like the old school SC rather than the concept they showed us a couple of years back. Remember, that one was based on less gadgets and more on using your surroundings as weapons (ala bourne) assasin creed-like open "stealth" and just generally using sam as the weapon, all based in an open-city of washington.

This one involved different, locations, shimmying across pipes, and gadgets. Its basically just like the previous ones. I guess the rumours that it was being changed back into previous SC is true.

As the original concept, it could've been so cool. I guess its all on AC2 now to deliver that. :(

I'm glad to be seeing more original Splinter Cell elements, it's sam doing it without the strings attached nows and it shows.
He still doesn't have all his gadgests, and whatever he used to scan through the door looked broken if anything, like a shard of some sort.

Anyway it looks amazing, I love Sam fisher more and more with each game

So basically rainbow six vegas in a different environment.

I like what I see. All I want from future Splinter Cells is more like Chaos Theory, really, and I played that for stealthy kills. Anything that gets away from the giant letdown of Double Agent is welcome.

Based on these trailers, though, I'm a bit concerned that it'll turn into "do mission based on fragment of info, try to interrogate dude, get another fragment of information, be interrupted by Splintercells Ex Machina, escape via luck, repeat". That's not a terrible thing per se, but I'd like it better if there was a decent story in there.

It's good to see a game evolve. Same mechanics over and over again just get boring...

I like that they've taken the decision to change the style a bit, but kept some of the classic ingredients.

What the hell happened to this game? Last time I saw a trailer for this, he was basically a vagrant milling about, picking fights with coppers in the streets. Now he's some super slick assassin.
  • RedSparrows #15 3 years ago

Do people not really pay attention? It's a mix of old SC and the new style previously shown. It's him vs the world, using the environment and his bare hands as much as an EMP grenade.

    Sam Fisher da man!
