I remember Zelda: Four Swords Adventures which had some great ideas for coop play, this doesn't seem to have that ambition so far.

I am assuming this will have online multiplayer, but going by LittleBigPlanet it's a lot of fun even with complete strangers. Best with people you know, of course, but almost as good with like-minded strangers.
