It's a new Mario game, one of two announced tonight. This one is along the lines of the DS's 'New' schtick, with four-player co-op right there on the cards.

There's not enough coop in it - just seems to be a race to the finish.

I remember Zelda: Four Swords Adventures which had some great ideas for coop play, this doesn't seem to have that ambition so far.

As long as it plays a decent single player game too. I can't be arsed with multi-player nonsense. That, and I have no friends to play with.

I am assuming this will have online multiplayer, but going by LittleBigPlanet it's a lot of fun even with complete strangers. Best with people you know, of course, but almost as good with like-minded strangers.
