New characters and a surprising amount of fisticuffs feature in this new trailer for Heavy Rain. And some pants.

Interesting trailer. I hate that guy's voice - he was the one from the fight with the big black dude, wasn't he? I didn't like Fahrenheit, but will definitely check this out, as it looks like an interesting concept, and it's nice to see a major exclusive which isn't within one of the traditional genres.

I hope there's not really that much fighting in the game though, as it felt silly, even just in the trailer. Hopefully they included that for action junkies.

All the fighting will be QTEs anyway. To me it’s just like a movie trailer, its condensed action, but the film might only contain 5% (if that).

EDIT: Just to add - I think it looks awesome and i amd looking forward to it a lot now. Both this and Fahrenheit have oodles of atmosphere. I haven't seen this in games since Westwood's Blade Runner.

It looks very interesting and is much needed step in the right direction for dramatic thriller style games. Looks good......yet annoyingly the only bit of info my brain seemed fit to gleam from the trailer was "Mmmmm.......Stripping!" DAMN YOU BRAIN!

Kinda looks like a direct to DVD movie starring Christopher Lambert I'd say ...

Which means the story and voice acting is much better than most games then? Bear in mind most games have shit voice acting and equally shit story.

I think this trailer looked pretty good. If its a much improved version of the Farenheit structure before it got all Sci-Fi then count me in.

mrmrc84, yeah, but most games don't rely completely on their story as this seems to do and is hyped for. Well, story and QTE:s ... They should show the non QTE-gameplay soon.

I love the concept for this, the fact you could just kill everyone off is pretty sick and keep playing is a pretty serious idea. How it plays is something I'm interested in. No gimmicky button presses or constant quick-time events and this will be just fine. Now for the release date, which is?

And for the young and dumb out their, its adventure game. Not a tun of controlling, more so decision making. Look it up in video gaming 101.
