E3: First Aliens vs. Predator video

Look, we'll be honest. Both the Predator and Aliens scare the bejeesus out of us. We'll probably play this on a special set up, outside in the sun, with a complex array on mirrors and lasers so nothing and no-one can sneak up on us.

    Brilliant trailer. Please be good - Rebellion must surely be amongst the most inconsistent developers in the world, with stuff like Shellshock 2 and AVP Requim alongside good games like Sniper Elite and Rogue Trooper. I hope this is one of their better efforts.

    Why can't they just have aliens and people? Predators just ruin the whole thing if you ask me. It's like the drunk person at the party.

    What, do Predators knock stuff over and insult ladies in the kitchen?


    I quite liked playing the Predator in the first AvP game (the only one I've really given time to). Not the best set of levels in the game, but the various gadgets were fun.

    I liked the three classes in AvP2. Nice mix of playing styles. Playing as the aliens was the most fun though.

    It was a nice mix of styles, although I found the marines to be by far the most enjoyable. It was just a lot more tense and atmospheric playing something squishy, that and the little touches from the film like the motion detector beeping.

    Playing as an Alien right from the facehugger stage was cool though.

    The Predator just felt too much like God mode.

    Rebellion didnt make the AvP2 they made the first one, the second was made by monolith. They were both fantastic games though and I shall be buying a new supply of clean underwear for the marine missions. I hope they include the last man standing / survivor mode in multiplayer like the last 2 games as for me that made it so much more fun for me.

    Predator is supposed to feel like God Mode. They are the ultimate hunters!

    Oh man I can't wait for this. I should probably have the courage to finish the marine campaign on the older games first. :D

    When someone talks about AvP, I think of the games which were both excellent.

    The films don't mean anything to me.
