I'm actually surprised how good Duke is after all the hyperbole hatred but some games attract haters for some reason I guess.

Might look at this if it offers something worthwhile but to be honest I'm kinda stuck on the main game at the mo that damn Octoking battle on the crane ARGH!!!!!!!

I didn't hate DNF quite as much as some people. I even enjoyed some parts of it.

This doesn't look all bad! At least it's got a bit of personality...

The terminator robot saying the "balls of steel" line got a giggle out of me.

I stopped playing the game somewhere around the alien rape caves, but somehow I still keep thinking I want to go back and finish the game..

Can't we just forget DNF ever happened, and now that the IP is sorted out reboot the series properly? Use the Bulletstorm engine, include some level design that actually evokes the exploration of the original instead of a linear corridor-fest, and i'd be on it like a tramp on a kipper. Oh well, I can wish.

Yep, at best, even for fans 'it could have been worse'. Well, um, no it couldn't. A reskinned Duke 3D would have been twice the game DNF was. In fact, it exists, it's called DN64, and it shits this sorry excuse for a game.
