What the hell has happened while I watched this? The game actually does look good..

..but his voice is all wrong! Where's the bass to it? It's meant to be a lot deeper than that. Duke sounds like he's got a cold!

Looks extremely silly and fun so, yes, please! Looking forward to trying the PC demo tomorrow. Don't care if the gameplay mechanics are dated; hell, when I played the original Duke Nukem 3D on the PSone then N64 it was hardly cutting edge but I loved it all the same. As long as it makes me laugh and entertains me at the same time then I couldn't ask for more from a game or even an FPS which is an otherwise stale genre these days full of oh-so-serious military shooters. If nothing else this will surely be a refreshing and welcome change from all the FPS ordinariness doing the rounds, just as Bulletstorm was?

Im still not understanding the almost nasty hate the game is getting in some sectors? All thats happening is a 14 year old game has been saved from the brink, a team has gone out of their way to make sure it gets released and a lot of people are almost willing it to fall flat on its face. I dont get it????

Anyway, looking forward to this, fully expecting a 7 or 8/10 average, few 9's from some and then the attention seeking 4 and 5/10 reviews.

hopefully the game will just be fun to play , its not going look state of the art but after around 14 years i think , here is hoping it is as fun as duke 3d was and is.
