Have I got this right - if I buy Dragon Age Origins I get some armour set to wear in Mass Effect 2? If so, that really is taking the piss. Bad enough the Avatar store tries to make me pay thru the nose for crappy addons for the avatar I never use, or companies release collector's editions with increasing price tags for useless ingame gimmicks, now they want me to buy a whole different game as well?

i dont see the problem with this. the armour looks cool in ME2. if Bioware are willing to say "here you go, thankyou for playing both games, we'll give u a cool armour in ME2". fair play to them. Its not like ME2 is gonna be any less awesome without it

Hm. Much to my regret I have bought DA and found it a soup of tired cliches both of fantasy and Bioware. But even if it had been the new Planescape Torment, I would in no way use that ridiculous looking armour in ME2. Which I shall probably buy, although if Cmdr Shepard uses the phrase 'take him/her/them down' more than once I shall take the DVD out of the drive and stamp on it.
